Quick Tip for Families in ICU: ICU Induced Coma Testimonial: How Efficacy and the Right Information Save Lives
My name is Patrik Hutzel from intensivecarehotline.com, where we instantly improve the lives of families of critically ill patients in intensive care, so that you can make informed decisions, have peace of mind, control, power, and influence even if you’re not a doctor or a nurse in intensive care so that your loved one gets the best care and treatment, always.
Today, I have a very powerful testimonial from one of our viewers. Her name is Lisa, and I’ll just read out her email or comment on YouTube where she says:
“I found Patrik online sitting in my daughter’s ICU hospital room six years ago, when my then 36-year-old daughter was in a car wreck. She was in a coma for 94 days. While in the coma, the doctors and nurses did not think she would wake up, and they just wanted to move her to a nursing home until she died. She was in ICU for 14 days, then in an LTAC for 80 days, which is when she finally
woke up.
Obviously, this is a viewer in the U.S.
The entire 80 days in the LTAC, the medical personnel were trying to move her to a nursing home. Insurance was also an issue, but in both cases, you don’t have to take no for an answer.I never had a one-on-one consulting session with Patrik. I just had the information he gives for free on the internet, but even just that was absolutely life changing.
As he says, you don’t know what you don’t know. I learned from him not to be intimidated by the doctors or nurses. They are just people, the same as us. It gave me the courage to stand up to them and to advocate for my daughter and her care.
She’s doing well. She was in inpatient rehabilitation for 2 years in 3 different facilities. That’s another thing,
when one facility says you can’t stay anymore, look for another one. Her insurance covered all her new rehabilitation.
She’s been home for 4 years now, and she lives with me. She’s mostly independent, but still has spasticity issues, which makes walking difficult. She is in physical therapy 2 times a week. She does have an axonal diffuse brain injury from the wreck, which contributes to her physical problems, but she’s pretty much the same person she was before.
I just wanted to say thank you, Patrik, and to let you know if your loved one is in ICU, Patrik’s information is beyond life changing.”
What an absolutely powerful and life-changing story.
Thank you so much, Lisa, for sharing this. And here’s the thing, Lisa only ever used the free information that I
provide on my website at intensivecarehotline.com and on my YouTube channel, my blog, and my podcast. That free information alone gave her the knowledge, the confidence, the power, the internal strength and fortitude, and the advocacy skills to challenge the doctors and nurses in ICU, LTAC (Long Term Acute Care), and in rehab facilities to save her daughter’s life.
Now imagine this for a moment, if the free information is already life-changing, what happens if you work with me directly one-on-one?
When you invest in my consulting and advocacy services, the path to life-saving and life-changing results is cut short and moves from years, because
that’s how long it took Lisa, to hours or even days. We’ve saved lives here within hours, I can assure you of that.
And you can read our testimony section at intensivecarehotline.com. You can watch our podcast series at intensivecarehotline.com, where we’ve done client interviews on how we help their loved ones survive ICU.
Because when your loved one is critically ill in ICU, hours matter. Having the right information and the right
advocacy by your side can make all the difference between life and death, between being sent to a nursing home to die or going to rehab to recover, between giving up or fighting for the best possible outcome.
Lisa’s daughter is living proof that you don’t have to take no for an answer in intensive care or in LTAC. With the right consulting and advocacy, outcomes that doctors and nurses
often label as “impossible” are absolutely possible. We have done it here hundreds of times.
So if your loved one is in ICU right now and you feel pressure, if doctors are pushing for withdrawal of treatment, or if they’re trying to send your loved one to an LTAC or a nursing home without giving them a real chance, don’t let that happen.
You now have another case study and living proof that my consulting and advocacy here change lives and save lives.
I have worked in
critical care nursing for 25 years in three different countries, where I worked as a nurse manager for over 5 years in intensive care. I’ve been consulting and advocating for families in intensive care since 2013 here at intensivecarehotline.com. I can very confidently say that we have saved many lives with our consulting and advocacy because of our insights. You can verify that on our testimonial section at intensivecarehotline.com. You can verify it on our intensivecarehotline.com podcast section where we have done client interviews because our advice is absolutely life changing.
The biggest challenge for families in intensive care is simply that they don’t know what they don’t know. They don’t know what to look for. They don’t know what questions to ask. They don’t know their rights, and they don’t know how to manage doctors and nurses in intensive care.
That’s why we help you to
improve your life instantly, making sure you make informed decisions, have peace of mind, control, power, and influence, making sure your loved one gets best care and treatment always. That’s why you can join a growing number of members and clients that we have helped over the years, saving their loved ones’ lives.
That’s why I do one on one consulting and advocacy over the phone, Zoom, WhatsApp, whichever medium works best for you. I talk to you and your families directly. I handhold you through this once in a lifetime situation that you simply cannot afford to
get wrong. When I talk to families directly, I also talk to doctors and nurses directly, asking all the questions that you haven’t even considered asking but must be asked when you have a loved one critically ill in intensive care.
I also represent you in family meetings with intensive care teams.
We also do medical record reviews in real time so that you can get a second opinion in real time. We also do medical record reviews after intensive care if in case you have unanswered questions, if you need closure, or if you are suspecting medical
negligence.
We also have a membership for families of critically ill patients in intensive care, and you can become a member if you go to intensivecarehotline.com, if you
click on the membership link, or if you go to intensivecaresupport.org directly. In the membership, you have access to me and my team, 24 hours a day, in the membership area and via email, and we answer all questions intensive care related. In the membership, you also have exclusive access to 21 eBooks and 21 videos that I have personally written and recorded. All of that will help you to improve your life instantly, make informed
